In 2018, SPIRE conducted a crucial Structural Integrity Assessment for Boahenville Ltd.,
evaluating their facility that houses a Shell Filling Station, a two-storey building with a basement, a car washing bay, tire services, a Shell Shop, and a Pharmacy Shop. Boahenville Ltd. expressed an intention to transform sections of the building into open space shops, necessitating the introduction of new columns and the removal of existing columns. This transformation aimed to create open spaces with fewer columns, aligning with the client's vision for the facility.
To achieve this objective, SPIRE conducted a meticulous Structural Audit of the existing structure. The audit was designed to confirm the structural competence of the building and determine the optimal placement and removal of columns to realize Boahenville Ltd.'s goals.
Following the Structural Audit, SPIRE took on the role of supervision for the subsequent works. This involved overseeing the introduction of new columns and the removal of existing ones, ensuring that the structural modifications aligned with the client's vision while maintaining the highest standards of safety and stability.
